Assessment of pregnant patients who have completed a self-administered questionnaire that screens for risk of alcohol, tobacco and illicit drug use during pregnancy as well as taking a medical and psychosocial history. Patients also provide a urine sample for toxicology testing with written consent. Gathering of detailed information about past and present alcohol, tobacco and drug use, and provide education and appropriate referrals to other services. The assessment concludes with a diagnosis and care plan for follow-up. Day-Activity Program Supervisor– Provided Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) for 30 developmentally disabled adults whose behavioral issues ranged from moderate to severe. The goal of the day program was to help clients avoid being placed in a higher level of care or to help the clients make a successful move to a lower level of care i.e. a less management intensive setting or even transitioning into independent living. This included developing and implementing behavioral plans, ensuring that interventions and strategies focused on improved self-management, self-awareness, and communication skills with a focus on positive reinforcement of desirable behaviors.
